This was the first of two shows celebrating Metallica’s 40th Anniversary.

At least one song was performed from each studio album and the setlist was structured in chronological order.

This was the first time in over nine years that “Trapped Under Ice” was performed live. It was last played on June 23, 2012.

This was the first time in over five years that “Orion” was played in the U.S.. It was last performed in the United States on September 27, 2016.

This was the first time in nearly five years that “King Nothing” was performed. It was last played on January 18, 2017.

This was live debut of “Fixxxer.” It’s time for fans to find another deep cut to obsess over.

Metallica performed 16 songs off of twelve different albums: Kill ‘Em All (1), Ride the Lightning (2), Master of Puppets (2), …And Justice for All (2), Metallica (2), Load (1), Reload (1), Garage Inc. (1), S&M (1), St. Anger (1), Death Magnetic (1), and Hardwired…To Self-Destruct (1)
