This was the first time that Metallica had participated in the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, TN. It was the seventh annual Bonnaroo.

This was the first time that Ride the Lightning was performed in Tennessee since May 3, 1986 when they played Johnson City, TN.

This was the first time that Whiplash was performed in Tennessee since February 1, 1997 when they played Pyramid Arena in Memphis, TN.

This was the first time that Last Caress was performed in Tennessee in ten years. The last time was on July 24, 1998 in Antioch, TN where it was played acoustically. The last electric performance of Last Caress was on April 14, 1997 in Nashville, TN.

This was the second time that The Memory Remains was performed in Tennessee. It was last played on July 24, 1998 in Antioch, TN.
