This was the twelfth time that Metallica performed in Melbourne.

This was the fifth show performed in Melbourne in the last two months.

The following six songs were performed in Melbourne for the first time: Disposable Heroes, Leper Messiah, The Unforgiven III, The Call of Ktulu, Fight Fire With Fire, Trapped Under Ice

Even though this gig was the last show of the tour, the band managed to make one more tour debut. The Call of Ktulu was played for the first time on the World Magnetic Tour. Ktulu was last performed on November 11, 2004 in Nashville, TN. It was also only the eighth performance of the epic instrumental over the course of the last eleven years.

This was the first time that The Unforgiven III was performed on the Australian continent.

The Thing That Should Not Be and Die, Die My Darling were performed in Melbourne for the second time.

Of Wolf & Man was played for third time in Melbourne. This was the first performance of the song in Melbourne in over 17 years. It was last played here on April 4, 1993.

Fuel was performed for the fourth time in Melbourne.

That Was Just Your Life as played in Melbourne for the fifth time.
