SHOW NOTES
This was the third time that Metallica has performed in Bogota, Colombia.

Metallica first played Bogota on May 2, 1999.

Metallica last played Bogota on March 10, 2010.

This was the first show of the “Metallica By Request” tour where each member of the audience had the opportunity to vote for the setlist before the show at MetallicaByRequest.com.

Metallica debuted a brand new song entitled “Lords of Summer.”

In addition to “Lords of Summer,” three songs were performed in Bogota for the first time: “The Unforgiven,” “…And Justice for All” and “Welcome Home (Sanitarium).”

Six songs were performed in Bogota for the second time: “Fade to Black” (last played in 2010), “Seek and Destroy” (last played in 2010), “Battery” (last played in 1999), “Blackened” (last played in 2010), “Fuel” (last played in 1999) and “Ride the Lightning” (last played in 2010).

“Ride the Lightning” was the “Vote of the Day” song in the setlist. The audience was asked to vote between “Ride,” “The Day That Never Comes” and “Whiskey in the Jar” throughout the day. “Whiskey” lead throughout most of the day but, in the end, “Ride” came out on top.

Esta fue la tercera vez que Metallica se presentó en Bogotá, Colombia.

Este fue el primer show de la gira “Metallica By Request” donde cada miembro de la audiencia tuvo la oportunidad de votar por el setlist antes del show en MetallicaByRequest.com.

Metallica estrenó una nueva canción titulada “Lords of Summer”.

Además de “Lords of Summer”, tres temas se estrenaron en Bogotá: “The Unforgiven”, “…And Justice For All” y “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)”.

Seis temas se interpretaron en Bogotá por segunda vez: “Fade to Black” (última tocada en 2010), “Seek and Destroy” (última tocada en 2010), “Battery” (última tocada en 1999), “Blackened” (última vez tocado en 2010), “Fuel” (tocado por última vez en 1999) y “Ride the Lightning” (tocado por última vez en 2010).

“Ride the Lightning” fue la canción “Vote of the Day” en la lista de canciones. Se pidió a la audiencia que votara entre “Ride”, “The Day That Never Comes” y “Whiskey in the Jar” durante todo el día. “Whiskey” lideró la mayor parte del día pero, al final, “Ride” se impuso.
