This was the first time Metallica had ever performed in Aarhus. They have previously only played in Copenhagen, Holstebro, and the Roskilde Festival.
Each band on tonight’s bill had Danish blood flowing in their veins. Both Mnemic and Volbeat are from Denmark and, of course, Lars was feeling right at home with his Danish friends and family.
The last time Whiplash was performed in Denmark was on November 27, 1996 in Copenhagen.
The first time Enter Sandman had been performed in Denmark was on August 10, 1991. It was the third time the song had ever been played. It’s amazing that the song has since been performed live around 800 times.

Esta fue la primera vez que Metallica actuó en Aarhus. Anteriormente solo han tocado en Copenhague, Holstebro y el Festival de Roskilde.
Cada banda en el cartel de esta noche tenía sangre danesa corriendo por sus venas. Tanto Mnemic como Volbeat son de Dinamarca y, por supuesto, Lars se sentía como en casa con sus amigos y familiares daneses.
