This was the 122nd show on the World Magnetic Tour and the third performance in 2010.

This was the fifth time that Metallica played in Buenos Aires.

This was the second of two shows scheduled in Buenos Aires.

Metallica first played Buenos Aires on May 7, 1993 at Velez Sarsfield Stadium during the Wherever We May Roam Tour.

Prior to the January 21st show, Metallica last played Buenos Aires on May 14, 1999 at River Plate Stadium during the Garage Remains the Same Tour.

This was the first performance of Ride the Lightning of 2010. It was also the first time that Ride the Lightning was performed in Buenos Aires.

This was the first performance of The Four Horsemen of 2010. It was last performed on November 9, 2009 in Grand Rapids, MI.

This was the first time that The Judas Kiss was performed in South America.

This was the first time that Fight Fire With Fire was performed in the second encore slot. The band also did not use the intro tape opting to start the song with the blistering fast riff that normally follows the intro.
