This was the 10th show Metallica has played in Columbus, OH. The first time they played in Columbus was on January 28, 1985 at the Newport Music Hall on the Ride the Lightning tour.

The last time Metallica performed in Columbus was on September 24, 2004 at the Value City Arena on the Madly in Anger With the World tour.
