SHOW NOTES
Lars had a bit of a health scare on the way to the gig and had to sit this one out. Dave Lombardo from Slayer, Joey Jordison from Slipknot, and Lars’ drum tech Flemming all helped the rest of the ‘Tallica boys put a show together.

SHOW NOTES
This show was a part of the Download Festival, a two day festival with three stages and approximately 70 bands.

This was the sixth time that Metallica have played in Donington at this festival, the first being August 17, 1985.

Lars did not play at this show due to a medical emergency; the first and only show he has missed in Metallica’s 23 year history.

Band friends Joey Jordison from Slipknot, Dave Lombardo from Slayer, and Lars’ trusty right hand man and drum tech for 19 years, Flemming Larsen, stepped in to make sure there still was a show.

Lars tuvo un pequeño problema de salud camino al concierto y tuvo que quedarse fuera. Dave Lombardo de Slayer, Joey Jordison de Slipknot y el técnico de batería de Lars, Flemming, ayudaron al resto de los chicos de ‘Tallica a montar un espectáculo.

Este espectáculo fue parte del Download Festival, un festival de dos días con tres escenarios y aproximadamente 70 bandas.

Esta fue la sexta vez que Metallica tocó en Donington en este festival, la primera fue el 17 de agosto de 1985.

Lars no tocó en este espectáculo debido a una emergencia médica; el primer y único espectáculo que se ha perdido en los 23 años de historia de Metallica.
