This was the ninth time that Metallica performed in Scotland and the fifth time they’ve played a show in Glasgow.

Metallica first played in Scotland on September 12, 1986 at the Playhouse in Edinburgh.

Metallica last performed in Scotland on March 26, 2009 at SECC in Glasgow.

This was the first time that “Hardwired,” “Atlas, Rise!,” “Now That We’re Dead,” “Confusion,” “Halo On Fire,” “The Memory Remains,” “Moth Into Flame” and “Spit Out the Bone” were performed in Scotland.

This was the first time in 29 years that both “Blitzkrieg” was played in Scotland. It was last played in the country on September 24, 1988 in Edinburgh.

This was the first time in 25 years that both “Harvester of Sorrow” and “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” were performed in Glasgow. They were last played here on October 27, 1992.
