SHOW NOTES
This was the 18th time Metallica has played in Italy. They first played in Italy back on February 5, 1984 in Milan…it was their second European show ever.

This was the 4th time The New Song was played on the Escape from the Studio ’06 tour.

As much as Metallica has played in Italy over the years, this was the first time they have performed Leper Messiah in the country.

This was the 10th time Metallica has performed Last Caress in Italy and the 2nd time they’ve played it on this tour.

This was the final date on the European leg of the Escape from the Studio tour. Next stop, Japan!

Esta fue la 18ª vez que Metallica tocó en Italia. Tocaron por primera vez en Italia el 5 de febrero de 1984 en Milán… fue su segundo espectáculo europeo.

Esta fue la cuarta vez que se tocó The New Song en la gira Escape from the Studio ’06.

Por mucho que Metallica haya tocado en Italia a lo largo de los años, esta fue la primera vez que tocaron Leper Messiah en el país.

Esta fue la décima vez que Metallica interpretó Last Caress en Italia y la segunda vez que lo tocaron en esta gira.
