This was the first show of the European WorldWired stadium tour.

This was the 12th time that Metallica performed in Lisbon.

Metallica last played in Lisbon on February 1, 2018 at Altice Arena.

Barring an acoustic appearance during the All Within My Hands Helping Hands concert, this was the first time that “Disposable Heroes” was performed on the WorldWired tour and also the first time in nearly four years that it was played. It last appeared on a setlist on September 15, 2015 in Quebec City.

This was the first time in nearly seven years that “The God That Failed” was played. It was last performed on June 24, 2012 at the Orion Music + More festival in Atlantic City, NJ.

This was the first time that “Here Comes Revenge” was performed in Europe.

This was the first time in over eight years that “Frantic” was played. It was last performed on December 10, 2011 at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA.

This was the first time in nearly four years that “Lords of Summer” was performed and the first time that the arrangement recorded during the Hardwired… sessions was performed live. It was last played on September 15, 2015 in Quebec City.

Metallica played 18 songs from the following albums: Kill ‘Em All (1), Ride the Lightning (3), Master of Puppets (3), …And Justice for All (1), Metallica (5), St. Anger (1), Hardwired…To Self-Destruct (3) and one non-album track.
