This was the first time in ten years that Metallica performed in Milan. They were last here on June 5, 1999 to play the Gods of Metal Festival. It was at this show that Metallica was joined by King Diamond and Hank Shermann for a performance of the Mercyful Fate medley.

Metallica first played Milan on February 5, 1984.

This was the first time that Trapped Under Ice was performed in Milan.

This was the first time that Turn the Page was performed in Milan.

This was the first time that Disposable Heroes was performed in Milan.

Esta fue la primera vez en diez años que Metallica actuó en Milán. Estuvieron aquí por última vez el 5 de junio de 1999 para tocar en el Festival Gods of Metal. Fue en este espectáculo que King Diamond y Hank Shermann se unieron a Metallica para una presentación del popurrí de Mercyful Fate.
