This was the tenth time that Metallica played in the Nashville area. They first played Nashville on July 27, 1986.

They last played Nashville on June 12, 2008 at the Basement, a very, very small Club. Prior to that they were in Nashville on November 11, 2004, which included a rare performance of The Call of Ktulu.

This was the first time that Holier Than Thou was performed in Nashville.

This was the first time that Turn the Page was performed in Nashville.

Motörhead legend Lemmy Kilmister joined the band on stage for not one but TWO Motörhead classics. He performed Damage Case and Too Late Too Late with the band.
