This was the 113th show on the World Magnetic Tour and the 87th performance in 2009.

This was the first show of a two-night stint at New York’s famous Madison Square Garden.

This was the fifth time that Metallica played Madison Square Garden.

Metallica last performed in New York on October 30, 2009 for the 25th Anniversary of the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame.
