This was the fourth time that Metallica had played the Rock Am Ring festival. This first time was on May 22, 1999 and the last time was on June 3, 2006… which was the kick off of the Escape from the Studio ’06 tour.

This was the first time that Whiplash was performed at Rock Am Ring.

This was the first time that Die, Die My Darling was played since June 10, 2006 at the Download Festival in Donington, England.

This was the first time that Motorbreath was played since June 8, 2006 at the Gelredome in Arnhem, Netherlands.

This was the first time that Bleeding Me was played in Germany since November 19, 1999 at the Velodrom in Berlin featuring the Deutschen Filmorchester Babelsberg as conducted by Michael Kamen.

NOTAS:

Esta fue la cuarta vez que Metallica tocó en el festival Rock Am Ring. Esta primera vez fue el 22 de mayo de 1999 y la última vez fue el 3 de junio de 2006… que fue el inicio de la gira Escape from the Studio ’06.
