This was the first time in ten years that Metallica performed in Portland.

Metallica first played in Portland on March 19, 1985 at Starry Night Club.

Metallica’s last performance in Portland was on November 1, 2008 at the Rose Garden.

This was the first time that “Hardwired,” “Atlas, Rise!,” “Holier Than Thou,” “Now That We’re Dead,” “Moth Into Flame,” and “Spit Out the Bone” were performed in Portland.

This was only the fifth performance of “Holier Than Thou” since September 2016

This was the first time in over a year and a half that “No Remorse” was played live. It was last performed on March 3, 2017 in Mexico City and is only the fifth performance of the song since 2013.

This was the first time in 14 years that “Welcome Home (Sanitarium),” “Creeping Death,” and “Fuel” were performed in Portland. They were last played here on March 18, 2004 at the Rose Garden.

This was the first time in over 21 years that “Fade to Black” was played in Portland. It was last performed here on May 18, 1997 during the Poor Touring Me tour.

Metallica performed 18 songs from the following albums: Kill ‘Em All (2), Ride the Lightning (3), Master of Puppets (2), …And Justice for All (1), Metallica (4), Reload (1), and Hardwired…To Self-Destruct (5).
