This was the tenth show Metallica has played in Portland, OR. The first time they played in Portland was on March 19, 1985 at the Starry Night Club on the Ride the Lightning tour.

The last time Metallica performed in Portland was on March 18, 2004 at the Rose Garden on the Madly in Anger With the World tour.
