This was the second time that Metallica had played in Sofia and only the third time that they had played in the country of Bulgaria.

This was the first time that Harvester of Sorrow was played in Bulgaria.

This was the first time that Blackened was played in Bulgaria.

This was the first time that Hit the Lights was played in Bulgaria.

Members of The Big Four joined Metallica on stage for the heaviest version of Diamond Head’s Am I Evil? ever performed. 14 musicians were on stage including: James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammet, Robert Trujillo, Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson, Chris Broderick, Shawn Drover, Dave Lombardo, Scott Ian, Charlie Benante, Frank Bello, Rob Caggiano, and Joey Belladonna.

This was the first time that Dave Mustaine performed on stage with Metallica since April 9, 1983.

Metallica performed 18 songs tonight from 8 different albums: Kill ‘Em All (2 songs), Ride the Lightning (3 songs), Master of Puppets (2 songs), …And Justice for All (3 songs), The Black Album (3 songs), ReLoad (1 song), Garage, Inc. (1 song), and Death Magnetic (3 songs)
