This was the tenth time that Metallica has played Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY. The first time they played this venue was on April 28, 1986.

The last time Metallica played Nassau Coliseum was on April 20 & 21, 2004 on the Madly in Anger With the World tour.

Metallica has played Nassau Coliseum on the following tours: Damage, Inc., Damaged Justice, Wherever We May Roam, Poor Touring Me, and Madly in Anger With the World.

This was the first time in almost ten years that The Thing That Should Not Be was performed at Nassau Coliseum. The last time it was played was on July 23, 1989 on the Damaged Justice tour.

This was the first time that Phantom Lord was performed in Uniondale and only the second performance of the song since 2003.
